Common Ground provides a flexible content and appearance editor using our Theme Editor. Manage your content and media using the CMS, playlists, or collections.

Create a Theme

A default Theme is automatically created at account creation.

To start your own theme or duplicate an existing one, open the Eshop Editor, select "Create a new Theme" from the right section of the Theme section.

  • The new Theme will remain inactive until you select "Activate".

  • The active Theme is highlighted in blue.

Open my Eshop

To open the currently online Theme for your Eshop, you can select "Open Eshop" link from the highlighted active Theme in Themes Section.
You can also use the shortcut "My Eshop", in the main header section of the backoffice, near to your notifications.

Edit a Theme

From Themes section, clicking on "Edit" allows to modify the title, settings, and styles of a Theme. You can also access the App Editor to edit your own CSS custom code.

Preview a Theme

By selecting "preview" in the right section of the Eshop Editor, you can simulate and load Eshop contents with an offline theme.

Activate a Theme

By default, a theme is activated when you create your account. The active theme is highlighted in blue. To set a new theme for your Eshop, select "Activate".

This allows you to work and preview an offline theme until you are ready to publish.

Duplicate a Theme

To backup a Theme, select "Duplicate". Duplicating a Theme can be useful for experiments or creating marketing campaigns.

Upgrade a Theme

Updates could be available for the Eshop application. Simply click on the upgrade option to view the latest improvements. We strongly advise duplicating a Theme before upgrading or making significant edits.

Delete a Theme

To remove a Theme, select "Delete". CSS customization and Themes settings will be lost.
