Discrepancy reports

Last updated:

A discrepancy report finds "dangling listings": items that are still listed on Discogs but are no longer in your Common Ground inventory, or are no longer valid there. If you leave them online, you risk selling a record twice and ending up in an order dispute.

How to use it

  1. Generate a report here, or turn on daily auto-reports in Preferences › External services.

  2. Wait for it to finish. This can take up to 15 minutes.

  3. Unlist the dangling listings straight from the report.

  4. If needed, re-list the affected items from your inventory.

Good to know

  • You can generate as many reports as you like, but you can only unlist items from the most recent one.

  • For large inventories, Discogs may email you about a ZIP export. You don't need to do anything.

  • Discogs connection issues sometimes leave a listing online after an Eshop or POS sale. Running reports regularly keeps your sync clean.
