Partner Offer
Common Ground has a partnership with Sendcloud that gives our stores:
25% off any Sendcloud Premium subscription (monthly or annual — on top of the annual discount)
Preferential shipping rates with Mondial Relay, Chronopost, Colissimo, DPD and more — pricing normally reserved for businesses shipping 1000+ parcels per month
Important: To get this offer, you must be referred BEFORE creating your Sendcloud account. If you sign up on sendcloud.com directly, the partner pricing cannot be applied afterwards.
Book your Sendcloud onboarding
Our contact at Sendcloud is Jordan Astorg. Book a slot directly in his calendar: https://meetings.hubspot.com/jordan-astorg/rendez-vous
Mention you're a Common Ground store. Jordan will walk you through:
Creating your Sendcloud account on the partner plan
Setting up your payment method (Sendcloud bills you directly for labels)
Creating your API keys — you'll need these for Step 3
He also remains your direct contact afterwards for shipping pricing questions, dispute management, or a tracked-letter (lettre suivie) account.
Configure your Sendcloud account
In the Sendcloud panel (https://app.sendcloud.com):
Sender address — Settings → Addresses → Sender: add your shop's address (this is where rates are calculated from and what appears on labels). If you have several, mark the right one — you'll select it in Common Ground in the next step.
Carriers & rates — Settings → Carriers: enable the carriers you want to offer. Every shipping method you enable here appears as an option in your checkout, so keep the list tight — e.g. one home-delivery and one express option is plenty to start. You can refine anytime; changes show up in your checkout immediately.
API keys — Settings → Integrations → API: if not already done with Jordan, create an API integration and note your public key and secret key.
Default box — Add a default Box to ensure prices are returned for a certain package size.
Connect your Sendcloud account to Common Ground
In your Backoffice, open the checkout settings: https://admin.common-ground.io/editor/checkout
In the Carriers section, select Sendcloud
Paste your public key and secret key
Choose your sender address (loaded live from your Sendcloud account)
Optionally set a handling surcharge (%) — added on top of carrier prices shown to your customers, to cover packaging and handling
Enable the integration and save
Check your setup
Make sure your items have weights set in your inventory — rates are quoted by parcel weight, and items without weight can't be quoted
Open your shop's checkout with a test basket and enter a shipping address: you should see your Sendcloud carrier options with live prices
Place a test order — it appears in your Sendcloud panel automatically, ready for label printing
Note: Once connected, your old static shipping policies are no longer used for rate calculation — prices come from Sendcloud in real time.
