Credit Notes
A credit note (or store credit) is a commercial document that confirms that a certain amount of money has been credited to a customer account. Instead of refunding your customer immediately in cash or via bank transfer, your Eshop grant a customer credit to use for future purchases.
Key Features
Monetary Value: The credit note has a value expressed in your currency
Personal Account: It is linked to a customer account
Non-transferable: it cannot be transferred to an other account
Traceable Document: Each credit note has a unique number and an issue date
Future Use: It can be used during the next purchase
If you want to create a Credit Note for a new customer, you need to create the customer profile first !
How to create a Credit Notes
Go into your admin Backoffice and choose the Credit Notes tab
Add a credit Note and assign it to a customer
Create a title and a Reference to your credit note
Search the items related to this credit note and Submit
