Manual creation at Checkout

When a checkout is open, below the Search customers field click the Create a customer button.

Fill in the different fields as you would using the Manual creation method, and then click "Create user" to simultaneously add this customer to your Customer database and assign them to the current checkout.

Import & Create customers with CSV

You can use the CSV import tool to add contacts from another database, create new customers and assign those customers to lists. Use our template which is designed and formatted to ensure compatibility. Within the template you will find annotations and clear examples of correct formatting.

Using this method, you can assign groups of customers to already existing lists.

  1. Open the Customers & Lists menu

  2. Click CSV Import button to open the CSV Import menu.

  3. Download the template and add your data.

  4. When you're ready to import, drop the completed CSV file into the import too and a data check preview will be displayed.

  5. Click Submit Upload to complete the job.

Note: If you already have a CSV user list, you can also rename the columns to match our template instead of copying and pasting the data between files.

Attention: An email address (mandatory) serves as a unique identifier. No two customers can have the same email address.

Reminder: To use List_title column, a list must already be created. Otherwise, customer will not be assigned a list.

Customer Account Creation through Eshop

When new customers are checking out an order through the Eshop, they will be prompted to create a customer account.

To comply with data protection laws, customers must agree to the account creation by ticking the following box: Also create my customer account (Required)

To complete the account creation process, a verification link will be sent to the email address provided. Customers are required to verify their email address in order to access order messages and other communications between them and your shop.
