Understanding Inventory Item Limitations for Efficient Management

Updated this week

What is an Inventory limitation?

An inventory limitation is the maximum number of items (excluding listings) allowed under each subscription tier, ensuring fair usage based on available resources.

  • Essentials : 1k

  • Individuals : 10k

  • Standard : 50k

  • Extended : 75k

The Purpose of Inventory Limitations

An inventory item limitation ensures fair usage of system resources, maintaining optimal performance for all users. As our packages evolve based on data volumes and inventories processed, this structure reflects the resources needed to manage these quantities. By capping items, we guarantee a solid infrastructure that scales with your growth, ensuring a secure and efficient service.

In the Backoffice, visual markers alert users when their inventory is approaching the limit. Users can check the Subscription page to view the inventory limit associated with their plan. Additionally, when adding a new item, an indicator will be visible if the limit is near.

Managing Your Inventory Limit

There are a couple of ways to manage your inventory limit:

1. Delete Items

You can free up space by deleting items that are no longer needed. Items with no listings or sold-out items can be deleted via their item page.

2. Upgrade Your Subscription Plan

If you need more space, consider upgrading your subscription plan for a higher inventory limit.

Steps to Upgrade Your Plan:

  1. Navigate to the Preferences > Subscription & Invoices.

  2. Review your current plan and available upgrades.

  3. Select the plan that best suits your needs, and review the details.

  4. Select Submit to complete the upgrade process.
