Generic Item Sales
A generic item is a product that you sell repeatedly without tracking individual units. Unlike physical goods (vinyl records, books), it doesn't require inventory management.
When you sell generic items in your Shop such as coffee, you need to be able to do your order in the POS just like releases. Now you can easily manage their infinite quantities.
Items can be added to your inventory in several ways when you select Add item from main Header '+' icon. For a generic item, you must add it manually and you will be redirected to the Edit item page, to complete the process of adding an item to your inventory.
Steps to update your stock value :
Open your Inventory
Choose the item you want to update
Enter the Edit mode of the listing
Disable the "Track stock quantity" toggle
Best practices : group them by category (drinks, services, extras) to stay organized
