Update listings

Follow the steps below to update or change listing values using the Listings Updater. You can use this process to implement updates to multiple values at one time.

Steps to update listings

1. Open the Update Listings CSV template
   (You can view this on the Listings Import page or download it here.)

2. Enter listing IDs
   In the listing_id column, paste or type the ID numbers of the listings you want to update.

3. Edit values
   Adjust the fields you want to update (e.g. listing_media_condition, listing_price, etc.).
   Leave all other fields blank unless you're making changes to them.

4. Export the file
   Save your changes and export the file as a CSV.

5. Upload to Common Ground
   Go to https://admin.common-ground.io/import/listings-update

6. Preview and submit
   Drop your CSV into the upload area.
   Review the changes and click Submit Upload to apply the updates.

Clearing an Existing Value

Entering null will remove and clear the existing value of a cell when the update is applied.

Column Structure Requirements

Except for the required columns (highlighted in yellow), you can delete or reorder any column.

The import tool scans only for column headers, and it is the header text that determines whether the import will work. Column position is not taken into account.
