Customer Wantlist
A Wishlist is a feature that allows customers to save products they're interested in without buying them right away. They can follow their availability if they are sold out.
There is a requirement to use the Wantlist: your customers must be registered to create a favorites list. This is why you can decide to make account creation mandatory for everyone.
Otherwise, you can create a customer account in different ways:
Manually via the Customers menu
At the Checkout
Via CSV import
You can allow your customers to have a wishlist when they are registered by editing your preferences.
Tip: if an item is back in stock, your customers will automatically receive an email letting them know that he can buy the item he wanted.
Marketing and communication
As an Eshop, the Wantlist allows you to know more about your customers than you think.
You can create customers lists based on their Wantlist.
Note: To keep subscription fees reasonable, we choose to let you manually manage your lists to promote and hilight products by genre, styles or region area
Understand what your customers truly want
Identify hidden demand: Wantlisted products reveal purchase intent that hasn't become an order yet — a game-changer for your sales strategy.
Anticipate trends: when the same product appears on many Wantlists, it's a strong signal of interest.
Turn interest into action
Price drop alerts: notify customers when a wishlist item goes on sale thanks to a specific newsletter. It's one of the highest-converting triggers you can use.
Re-engagement campaigns: remind shoppers about items they saved but haven't purchased. A simple, well-timed email can be enough to close the sale.
Add / remove customer from lists
To add or remove a customer from lists, select Add to Lists from the customer account page. From this dialog window you can select which lists a customer should belong to.
